The author, Georgia Patilis, has a background in Human Resources and Healthcare. She is currently an Assistant Professor at SUNY Farmingdale. She teaches Spanish language courses on the undergraduate level. Professor Patilis also teaches Medical Spanish at the hospital level and in the classroom.
